Four Indigenous organisations were recognised for their valuable work at the Queensland Child Protection Awards in an awards ceremony at Parliament House last week. 

Queensland Minister for Children Leanne Linard congratulated this year’s Child Protection Week Awards winners. 

“This year’s winners were drawn from a diverse range of organisations under the theme of Child protection is everyone’s business,” she said. 

“These community champions are helping disadvantaged children and their families survive and thrive and should be commended for their daily dedication to creating safer communities…
